Special Event Permit Application

A Site Plan will be required to be attached and please include all street names, a highlighted area of road requesting to be closed, directional arrows, recommended parking areas, a layout of the event set up and a proposed traffic management plan on the site plan.

Crafters are defined as “Any individual offering for sale, away from their dwelling unit, hand-made goods, produced locally by themselves or their immediate family”.

Flea Markets means “any event where a variety of goods are displayed and offered for sale”

(There is no cost for a noise variance. The letter of request should be submitted a minimum of four weeks prior to the event)

  3. Appendix A (required)
  4. Appendix B (required)
  5. Applicable City of Brandon Business License, if applicable
  6. Liquor Permit issued by Manitoba Liquor and Gaming Commission, if applicable
  7. Community Events Designation letter, if applicable
  8. Building permit for any structures, if applicable
  9. Parade Permit, if applicable
  10. Any special Fire permits, if applicable
  11. Certificate of Insurance, required
